Stone Ridge Custom Homes is a Family Business
Stone Ridge Custom Homes was founded in 2002 by Mick, a structural engineer with an MBA and more than 30 years of experience in design and construction. His background spans large-scale commercial projects—including hotels and healthcare facilities—as well as custom homes and remodels, shaping the detailed project management standards the company was built on.
Chris grew up working alongside Mick, learning every aspect of home design, construction, and what it takes to run a successful business. After graduating from MTSU’s Residential Home Building Program, Chris worked as a project manager, became a partner and now serves as President, carrying forward Mick’s principles while expanding the company.
As Mick has faded into the background, Chris & Caleb have grown Stone Ridge Custom Homes in ways Mick never imagined, while maintaining the same dedication to superior quality.
Our Newest Partner Caleb Crenshaw
Caleb Crenshaw, Stone Ridge’s newest Partner, has been with the company since 2020 as Lead Project Manager. Caleb graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Building Construction Science.
Following graduation, Caleb worked with one of the top commercial builders in the country learning valuable processes and systems in construction. Caleb brings extensive experience in construction operations and site management, leading projects from concept to completion with a focus on efficiency, quality, and accountability.
